FRIED STUFFED MUSHROOMS

30 mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp parsley
1/2 cup chopped shrimp
4 scrambled eggs
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup crumbled crackers
Salt and pepper, to taste
Mushroom batter
4 eggs
2 cups flour
2 cups bread crumbs
Wipe mushrooms clean, spoon out gills, making a deep cup. Discard gills. Saute stems, chopped vegetables, garlic and Worcestershire sauce until tender. Add flour, parsley, shrimp and scrambled eggs. Cook for 10 minutes. Add cream, crackers and salt and pepper, to taste. Cook for 15 minutes.
Batter: Break eggs in a dish and scramble; put to the side. Put flour and bread crumbs into another dish, season with salt and pepper; set aside.
Take mushrooms and spoon 2 tsp of mixture into mushrooms, roll in eggs, and then flour mixture. Repeat for double coating. Heat oil in a saucepan and drop in mushrooms, turning constantly until or medium brown.
