BEEF NOODLE CASSEROLE

1 (8 oz) pkg wide egg noodles, cooked al dente; drained
2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 lb ground chuck
Salt, pepper and garlic powder
3 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
3/4 cup condensed beef bouillon
1/2 tsp crumbled dried oregano and pepper
1 cup cottage cheese
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup green onions, very finely sliced
1 tsp minced green pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
While noodles are cooking, melt butter in a skillet and saute the meat, sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mash with the back of a spoon, until browned. Stir in next 4 ingredients. Remove from heat.
In a bowl, combine next 5 ingredients. In a buttered 3-quart casserole, spread half the noodles. Cover with the cream cheese mixture, the rest of the noodles and top with meat. Sprinkle with cheese. Preheat oven to 350. Bake casserole for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
