STEAK WITH ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS

2 lbs top sirloin steak, flattened and cut into 2 inch strips
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 tbsp olive oil
3 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion powder and thyme
1/2 cup red wine
1 cup sliced mushrooms and sweet onion

Roll meat strips in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat oil and brown meat on both sides. Reduce heat to simmer and add herbs and 1/2 cup water and steam for 20 minutes. Add remaining water, wine, mushrooms and onions and cook for 20 minutes or until tender. Check periodically, adding more water if necessary. Remove meat from pan and add 1 to 2 tbsp flour to thicken. Return meat to sauce and serve over cook rice or noodles. Serves 6
