BAVARIAN CHOPS

Lightly flour 4 boneless pork loin chops. Melt 1 tsp butter in a skillet and quickly brown on both sides. Remove. Saute 1/2 cup chopped green onions, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms and 1/2 tsp thyme. Return chops to skillet, add 8 oz warm beer, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 7-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. To sauce, add 1-2 tbsp sour cream just before serving
