DEWY LEMON SALAD

1 large pkg lemon Jell-O
2 cups hot water
2 cup Mountain Dew and pineapple juice, combined
1 cup whipped topping, thawed
1 (12 oz) can pineapple tidbits
2 cups marshmallows
1 can lemon pie filling
1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water and add the juice from the pineapple and enough mountain dew to make 2 cups of liquid. Chill until syrupy and then fold in the pineapple tidbits and marshmallows. Pour into a 13x9 inch baking pan and chill until firm. Fold the whipped topping in the pie filling until thoroughly mixed and spread on top of the set Jell-O. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Chill well.
