COOKIE SALAD

1 cup buttermilk
1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
3/4 of a (16 oz) pkg fudge stripe cookies
1 (16 oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16 oz) can fruit cocktail (drained)
1 (15 oz) can pineapple tidbits (drained)
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges (drained)

Combine buttermilk and pudding mix in a bowl; mix well. Crush cookies. Add whipped topping and 2/3 of the cookies to pudding mixture. Add fruit; mix well. Spoon into serving bowl; sprinkle with remaining cookies. Makes 6-12 servings.
