QUICK MIX SNACK MIX

1/2 cup butter
1 pkg dry taco seasoning mix
4 cups corn and wheat Chex cereal
1 cup beer nuts
1/3 cup beef jerky, sliced
1/4 cup grated American cheese

Preheat oven to 250. Melt butter in a shallow roasting pan in oven. Stir in seasoning mix. Add cereals and nuts. Mix until all pieces are coated. Heat in oven 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add beef jerky and cheese. Stir to coat evenly. Bake an additional 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
