ALMOST BUTTERFINGER BALLS

3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 cup peanut butter
Chopped peanuts (optional)
12 oz chocolate chips, melted
1 tbsp shortening

Blend together graham cracker crumbs, butter or margarine, confectioners sugar and peanut butter and nuts, if desired. Form into 1 inch balls.

Melt chocolate chips and shortening together in a double boiler or in microwave. Insert wooden pick in balls and dip into chocolate. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheets. Allow to cool completely. Store in refrigerator.
