GREEN CHILI PORK STEW

2 tsp chili powder and oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
3 lb boneless pork roast (cut in 1 inch cubes)
1 tbsp oil and butter
1 medium onion, chopped
3 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup beef stock
1 quart tomatoes
1 or 2 can chopped green chilies
2. cup cubed potatoes
1 tbsp cilantro
1 can pinto beans drained and rinsed
1 cup cooked corn

Mix spices tossing in pork cubes to coat. Brown pork in small batches in a Dutch oven in the oil and butter. Saute onion and garlic. Return pork to pot and add water, stock and sugar. Add remaining ingredients except beans and corn. Bring to boil and simmer covered for 45 minutes. Add beans and corn. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
