FRENCH HAMBURGERS

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried crushed thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt and pepper
2 oz brie or camembert cheese, sliced

Combine first 6 ingredients and shape into 8 patties. Cook to desired doneness. Top with cheese on 4 patties and allow to melt. Place remaining 4 patties on top and press together. Serve with desired condiments.
