HERBED CHUCK STEAKS

Category: Beef Steaks

1/3 cup red wine vinegar and water
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp pepper, salt and sugar
2 boneless beef chuck should or rib eye steaks

Combine ingredients in a plastic bag and marinade steaks, turning to coat at least 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Remove steaks from marinade; reserving marinade. Grill steaks over medium coals for a total cooking time of 25-30 minutes, brushing with reserved marinade before turning. Allow to rest before carving into thin slices. Serves 2
