CARAMEL PECAN CHEESECAKE PIE - Easy

2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 graham cracker pie crust
20 caramels
2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix together cream cheese and sugar until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Melt caramels with milk, stirring frequently until smooth. Stir in pecans. Pour caramel mixture into curst. Top with cheese batter. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until center is almost. Cool and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight before serving.
