BEEF IN SOUR CREAM

4 slices bacon, diced and cooked and set aside
2 lbs stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/2 tsp marjoram
2 tsp salt
2 chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pint sour cream
1/4 tsp pepper

Add beef to bacon grease and brown. Add onion, garlic and cool. Stir in spices. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Ad water if meat becomes dry. Skim off excess fat. Slowly stir in sour cream. Serve with wild rice with peas and mushrooms.
