OLD COUNTRY SUPPER

6 slices bacon, fried crisp
4 medium thinly sliced potatoes
1 chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced celery
3 large cut, julienne strips carrots
1 bunch trimmed and sliced broccoli
1 lb sliced smoked sausage
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

In pan bacon was fried in, add remaining vegetables and saute until tender; add sausage on top. Cover and cook for 12 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese and heat 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with crumbled bacon.
