PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE SLICE AND BAKE COOKIES

1 1/2 cups butter
2 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
4 cups peanut butter chips

Cream together first 4 ingredients until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Using waxed paper, form dough into 4 rolls, each 2 inches in diameter and 10 inches long. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap; chill until firm.

Preheat oven to 350. Remove dough from plastic wrap and slice into 3/4 inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack.

NOTE: May freeze unwrapped rolls. Thaw in refrigerator and bake as directed above.
