CAJUN CHICKEN AND SHRIMP ALFREDO

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 lb cooked peeled shrimp
Olive oil
Sauce:
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/4 onion finely chopped
2 tbsp Cajun spice
1 tbsp minced garlic
Pinch of Basil (ground)
Pepper (to taste)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
Hot sauce or cayenne pepper (if you desire heat)
Hot cooked pasta (for serving)
Chicken should be cut into small pieces. Pan fry in small amount of olive oil. Drain oil when done.
Sauce: Combine the Alfredo sauce and tomato sauce in a bowl. Add the onion, Cajun seasoning, garlic, mozzarella cheese, and basil. Whisk thoroughly. Add sauce to chicken and shrimp in pan and simmer over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes, or until thickened. Pour over your choice of pasta.
