* BAKED CHICKEN ROMAESQUE*

1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut in parts
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 1/2 tsp salt, divided use
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (8 oz) box spaghetti, cooked without salt and drained
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
1 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 oregano
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Place chicken in shallow baking pan. Brush with oil. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of the salt and pepper on chicken.
Bake, uncovered, in 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes. Remove chicken from oven and set aside.
In large casserole, place cooked spaghetti. Place chicken on spaghetti. Add onion and green pepper.
In bowl, make sauce by mixing together tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, oregano and remaining 1 tsp salt; pour over chicken. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until fork can be inserted with ease. Serves 4
