BOURBON PECAN SQUARES

Crust
2/3 cup confectioners sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup butter, softened

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a13x9 inch baking dish. Sift sugar and flour together. Cut in butter until fine crumbs form. Press crust into baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes; remove from oven.

Topping
2/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup honey
3 tbsp heavy cream
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 1/2 cups shelled pecans, chopped
2 tbsp bourbon
12 oz chocolate chips

Mix first 5 ingredients together. Stir in pecans, coating them well. Sprinkle in chocolate chips over hot crust. Spread pecan mixture over all. Return to oven and bake for 25 minutes more. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
