BAILEYS IRISH CREAM CAKE

1 cup nuts
1 yellow cake mix without pudding
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
4 large eggs
1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur cold water and vegetable oil

Topping
1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 325. Grease a bundt pan. Sprinkle bottom of pan with nuts and then mix remaining ingredients together and pour over nuts. Bake 1 hour and cool cake completely. Pierce cake and drizzle with topping.

Topping: Combine water and sugar with melted butter. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Stir constantly. After removing from heat, stir in Irish cream.

NOTE: Cake is good with confectioners sugar sprinkled over it instead of topping, if desired.
