Shelly's Recipe

*STUFFED BACON ONION BURGERS*

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 cup water
6 thick slices cheese
6 slices crispy bacon strips
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Combine first 3 ingredients and shape into 12 thin patties. Place a cheese slices on six of the patties and cover with another patty, pinching edges to seal. Wrap a strip of bacon around each; fasten with a wooden toothpick. Grill 8-10 minutes, turning once, or until burgers reach desired doneness. Remove toothpicks and serve with buns.
