MAPLE GLAZED SWEET POTATOES

10 sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
1 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup apple cider
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp brown sugar

Preheat oven to 300. Place potato slices in a grease casserole. In a small saucepan, mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour mixture over potatoes. Bake for 45 minutes, basting potatoes every 15 minutes. Sprinkle with brown sugar over top of potatoes and return to oven. Bake until syrup is thick, about 15 minutes more.
