TOMATO AND CUCUMBER SUMMER SALAD

1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 tbsp white vinegar
1 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 to 3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup chopped parsley
Leaf lettuce
3 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 cucumbers, thinly sliced

Combine first 8 ingredients and process until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides. Gradually add oil in a slow steady stream. Stir in parsley. Cover dressing and chill. Arrange lettuce on chilled salad plates and top with tomato and cucumber slices. Drizzle with dressing. Serves 6-8
