Shelly's Recipe

BARBECUED RIBS SAUCE

2 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 onion, sliced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup ketchup
2 tbsp vinegar and brown sugar
1 tbsp horseradish mustard
1/2 tsp pepper

Melt butter and saute onion until browned in a saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and cook 20 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 cups - enough for 3 lbs meat.
