VINAIGRETTE DRESSING

Category: Salad Dressing

3/4 cup olive oil (see Notes)
1/4 cup white vinegar (see Notes)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Place all the ingredients in a medium bowl. Using a whisk, mix until well blended. Serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to use. About 1 cup

NOTES: Any type of oil or vinegar will work in here, from canola, corn, peanut, sunflower or extra virgin olive oil to red wine, apple cider, or balsamic vinegar.

You can even use fresh lemon juice in place of the vinegar and add fresh chopped herbs to make it truly your very own vinaigrette.

If the oil in the dressing turns cloudy after chilling, let it stand at room temperature for a few minutes, then whisk again before serving.
