WINEY CHICKEN

3 lbs chicken, split
2 cups blush wine
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/8 cup flour
2 clove garlic, minced

Season chicken with salt, pepper and flour. Palce skin side up in a roaster. Add garlic and dot with butter. Add wine and bake at 450 for 15 minutes, turning once and reseasoning with salt, pepper and flour. Baste with juices. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 1 to 2 hours, or until tender, continuing to baste every 15 minutes. Serves 4-6
