Shelly's Recipe

*ANGEL CHICKEN PASTA STOVETOP CASSEROLE*

olive oil
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1 onion, roughly chopped
1 small yellow squash or zucchini, roughly chopped
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 green or red bell pepper, roughly chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
1 cup dry white wine
2 cans golden mushroom or cream of mushroom soup
2 (4 oz) pkg cream cheese with chives
1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked al dente, drained

Saute chicken in a pan in olive oil. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, saute the vegetables and garlic in olive oil. Return chicken to pan and add remaining ingredients except pasta. Stir until smooth and heat through gently. Fold in pasta and serve.
