BEEF FILLETS WITH HERBED GARLIC CHEESE TOPPING

Category: Beef Steaks

4 (6 oz) fillets, 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick

Herbed Garlic Cheese Topping
1 (7 oz) container herm and garlic cheese spread
2 tbsp whipping cream or half-and-half
1/4 to 1/2 tsp pepper
1 (2.5 oz) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Grill steaks over medium heat 4 to 6 inches from coals to desired doneness.

Topping: In a saucepan, combine first 3 ingredients; blend well. Cook over medium heat until cheese melts and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Stir in mushrooms; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Serve with steaks.
