ITALIAN CASSEROLE

8 oz medium pasta shells, cooked al dente, drained
1 lb ground beef
8 oz cottage cheese
6 tbsp butter, melted
3 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 cup sliced pepperoni
1 (8 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 green or red bell pepper, diced
Oregano, salt and pepper, to taste

While pasta is cooking, cook ground beef; drain.

In a bowl, mix next 5 ingredients. Place cook pasta on bottom of a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Cover with ground beef and sprinkle with half the cheese and top with pepperoni. Top with remaining cheese and pepperoni. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
