ROSEMARY PARMESAN POTATOES AU GRATIN

2 tbsp butter
3 pounds potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/8 inch thick slices
2 cups half-and-half
1 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp minced garlic
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375. Spray a 2-quart casserole with non-stick vegetable spray.
In a large saucepan, combine butter, half-and-half, and potatoes; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in rosemary and garlic. Spoon into prepared casserole. Sprinkle with cheese, salt, and pepper. Cover. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove cover; bake for 15 minutes longer or until top is lightly browned.
