SPINACH CASSEROLE IV

2 (10 oz) pkg chopped frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 small onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1-2 cups croutons

Preheat oven to 350. Combine ingredients except croutons. Spoon into a 2-quart casserole and top with croutons. Bake 35-40 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serves 6-8
