MACARONI AND CHICKEN CASSEROLE

1 1/2 cup elbow macaroni, cooked al dente, drained
6 sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 chicken breast halves, cooked and cubed
1/2 cup chopped onions and green or red bell pepper, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups frozen vegetables, thawed (your choice
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 12x8 inch baking dish with cooking spray. While pasta is cooking, saute chopped vegetable. After draining pasta, combine with sauteed vegetables, bacon, chicken; set aside. Combine soup and next 3 ingredients along with 1 cup cheese. Spoon halve the macaroni mixture into the pan. Cover with half the vegetable mixture. Repeat layers. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes or until heated through. Top with remaining cheese and bake, uncovered, until cheese melts.
