SAUSAGE AND RICE CASSEROLE

1 box long grain and wild rice mix, prepared according to package directions leaving out butter
1 lb sausage
1 cup chopped celery and onion
18 oz pkg sliced mushrooms
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained

While rice is cooking, brown sausage and drain. To skillet, saute remaining ingredients. Combine rice, cooked sausage and vegetables and placed in a casserole dish. Cover and bake at 325 for 50-60 minutes.
