1 lb round or sirloin steak, cut into strips
1 tbsp paprika
1/8 tsp salt and pepper
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, chopped fine
12 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 cups sour cream
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Sprinkle steak with seasonings and saute in batches in butter. As meat browns, remove from skillet. Saute onion and mushrooms until softened. Stir together sour cream and flour until smooth. Stir in wine and nutmeg. Pour sour cream mixture into skillet and add beef. Heat over low, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly; do not allow to boil. Serve immediately over buttered noodles. Serves 4
