BROCCOLI POTATO CASSEROLE

16 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli
16 oz pkg frozen hash browns
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups
1/2 soup can milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder and pepper
1 tsp salt
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese or 1 jar Cheese Whiz
2 tbsp butter, cut up

Break up frozen broccoli and hash browns before remove from their bags. Combine all ingredients in a 2 1/2 to 3 quart casserole dish and stir. Cover and bake at 325 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until hot and bubbly.
