CARAMEL PECAN POUND CAKE

1 cup butter, softened
2 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
5 eggs
3 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder and salt
1 cup milk and finely chopped pecans
Confectioners sugar
Fresh fruit, garnish
Preheat oven to 325. Cream butter and gradually add sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Beat on low speed just until blended. Fold in pecans. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch tub pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan onto a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioners sugar and garnish with fruit.
