CREAM CHEESE DIP

2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sour cream
2 tbsp finely diced onion, carrot and red pepper
3 tbsp scallions, green part only, sliced thinly
1 tbsp soy sauce
Pepper, to taste
Small round peasant style bread
Bagel chips

Beat together ingredients until smooth. Slice off top of peasant bread and hollow out the center. Use bread as a bowl for the dip. Serve with bagel chips. Makes 2 1/4 cups
