CRAB STUFFED MUSHROOMS XII

2 dozen large mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
4 tbsp butter
2 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp minced onion
1/2 lb cooked crab meat
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp seasoned dried bread crumbs
3 tbsp minced green onion tops
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Parmesan cheese

Saute chopped stems in butter with garlic and onion. Brush mushroom caps with melted butter. Mix together crabmeat and next 7 ingredients to the onion mixture; cook 5 minutes. Fill mushrooms with mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400, in a buttered shallow glass casserole, for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
