CRANBERRY MALLOW SALAD

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cranberries
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1 small apple
1 small banana
1 small orange
1/2 cup whipped topping

Put sugar, cranberries and 2 cups water in a saucepan: boil, stirring frequently, adding more water if needed until cranberries burst: drain, cool. Chop and core apple. Slice banana, and peel and chop orange. Mix fruit pieces with marshmallows and cranberries: fold in whipped topping.
