BANANA SPLIT PIE

1 1/2 cups graham crackers finely crushed(about 9-10 crackers)
1 cup sugar, divided
1/3 cup butter melted
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
4 bananas, sliced and divided
2 cups cold milk
2 (3 oz) pkg vanilla instant pudding
1 cup chopped pecans
1 jar maraschino cherries
1 container whipped topping
Mix together graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press onto the bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Put in freezer for 8-10 minutes.
Beat softened cream cheese with remaining sugar until well blended. Spread cream cheese mixture over the crust carefully (the layer should be a bit thin). Top the spread cream cheese with crushed pineapple. then top the pineapple with sliced bananas. Pour the milk and dry pudding mixes into a large bowl. Beat for 2 minutes, or until well blended. Fold in one cup whipped topping.
Spread pudding mixture over the layer of bananas. Top with remaining whipped topping. Refrigerate at least 5 hours. Cut pie into squares. Just before serving, top pie with maraschino cherries (fresh sliced strawberries or more sliced bananas may be substituted) and sprinkle chopped pecans..
