1 small pkg chocolate pudding, not instant
1/4 cup sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
Dash salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Combine first 4 ingredient in a saucepan. Blend the egg with the milk and add to the pudding mixture gradually, blending well. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove form heat and add the vanilla. Place waxed paper over surface with plastic wrap to prevent skin from forming. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Beat pudding until creamy and fold in whipped cream. Spoon into buttered 1-quart mold and chill for at least 2 hours or until firm. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
