CARAMEL NUT SWEET POTATOES

6 sweet potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup water
3 tbsp butter
Nutmeg, to taste
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cook potatoes in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain and place in buttered baking dish. Make sauce by combing remaining ingredients, except pecans. Pour over potatoes and bake at 350 for 20 minutes, basting occasionally. During last 5 minutes, add pecans.
