STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM PIE

1 (4 serving) pkg strawberry Jell-O
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup cold water
1 pint vanilla ice cream, cut into chunks
1 cup sliced strawberries
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
Garnish: Fresh strawberries

1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water. Add cold water and stir. Add ice cream; stir until melte.d Chill mixture until it thickens and mounds, about 20-30 minutes. Fold in strawberries. Pour into the pie crust and chill at least 20-25 minutes. Top with whipped topping. Garnish.
