BAKED CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM CASSEROLE

1/4 cup butter
8 chicken pieces
1/4 cup flour
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup cheddar cheese
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 425. Melt butter in pan. Coat chicken with flour. Place skin side down in butter pan. Bake; uncovered; for 30 minutes. Turn pieces, bake 12-15 minutes longer or until well browned. Remove and reduce heat to 325. Combine rest of ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes or longer or until sauce is bubbly.
