1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
2 tbsp bacon drippings
2 tbsp cooked bacon bits
1/3 tsp salt

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Thicken with 1 tbsp cornstarch and water. Serve hot. This is delicious on fresh spinach or lettuce salads.
