CARIBBEAN BBQ SAUCE

1 tsp vegetable oil
3 slices bacon, diced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup rum
1 lemon, juices
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Dash chili sauce

Cook bacon and onion in oil until bacon evenly browns and onion is tender. Stir in tomato sauce and rum and reduce heat. Simmer for 2 minutes and mix in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer about 8 minutes.
