Shelly's Recipe

CHILI-RICE DINNER

3/4 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 (10-oz) pkg frozen sweet whole kernel corn
1 cup diced green pepper
1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 cup instant rice
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add spices, corn, green pepper, tomato sauce and water. Cover and bring to a full boil, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
