PARMESAN STUFFED MUSHROOMS

1 pkg whole button mushrooms (10-12 total)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fresh minced garlic
1/4 tsp onion powder
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Salt and fresh cracked black pepper
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Mince stems. Heat oil in saute pan over medium heat. Add minced stems, garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste. Saute until garlic is cooked, but not browned, and stems are soft - about 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat, let cool.
Preheat oven to 325. Add cream cheese and Parmesan cheese to garlic stem mixture. Fill each cap with a spoonful of cream cheese mixture. Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking after 15 minutes, until mushrooms begin to form liquid puddles around them.
