BARBECUE BLUE BURGERS

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck, round or sirloin
1/4 cup minced onion
4 tsp barbecue sauce
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbsp crumbled bleu cheese

Mix beef with onion, barbecue sauce, vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. Shape mixture into 8 thin patties. Place 1 tbsp bleu cheese in center of one patty. Top with another patty and press edges around cheese to seal. Repeat with remaining patties and cheese. Cook burgers on a hot grill about 15 minutes or until desired doneness. Serve on toasted hamburger buns that have been brushed with garlic butter. Serve additional barbecue sauce on top.
