1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup paprika
2 tbsp black pepper and salt
1 tbsp cayenne
2 tsp dry mustard
Mix all ingredients. Work 1/2 half mixture into meat 12 hours before cooking. Apply remaining rub before smoking.
