2 lbs smoked ham steaks, 1 1/2 - 2 inch thick
2 cups dry white wine or chicken broth
2 tbsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup maple syrup and orange juice
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp white wine vinegar

Dissolve cornstarch win white wine vinegar; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients except ham steaks in a saucepan. Add cornstarch mixture and bring to a slow boil, stirring often. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes.

Grill ham for 7 minute on each side, basing often with sauce. Trans steaks to a serving platter and our remaining sauce on top.
